A 3D 3-D CAD model of a ScanGauge II device. It mounts it into your car, with a positionable ball joint

Here is an adjustable and vibration-resistant mount for a ScanGauge II, an external display that plugs into a cars OBD2 port. The product is sold without a stand, leaving mounting options requiring a custom design. This mount, however, fits into any car by means of two mechanisms, leaving users options on how to install in their cars. (If you are interested, it is available here.)

Over here is a design I made for a one-off RC transmission. Higher torque inputs required beefier internals, resulting in larger face widths for each gear and refined mating teeth geometries. Accompanying these, a modified dog clutch eased shifting and strengthened it.

Designs are primarily manufactured using 3-D printed plastic. Specialized materials can be used to increase tensile strength, creep resistance, and ductility for those needing it. Currently, no 3-D scanner is available.

A nominal and upfront non-refundable fee applies to all custom design requests. This insures that the designer’s time is not wasted for each and every custom request as that can add up. Any materials that need to be purchased may be the customer’s responsibility. Past customers have been very pleased with the turnout of their products.

Proofs will be sent for each request to ensure the final product is to your preference. The cost of each request is proportional to the amount of proofs generated and the complexity of the design. If many details are wanted, please be as specific as possible with your descriptions to reduce cost.
